Nurturing young Hearts in Christ
Our Children’s Ministry exists to help kids experience God’s love, grow in their faith, and build a strong foundation in His word. From nursery care to engaging Sunday school classes, we provide safe and welcoming spaces where children can learn and thrive. We strive to come alongside parents as they seek to raise their children in the care and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
Caring for Our Little Ones
We provide a caring and safe environment for our youngest children during the Sunday worship service. Our trained and background-checked volunteers are committed to showing Christ’s love through gentle care, giving parents peace of mind while they worship.
Building a Foundation of Faith
Children’s Education (CE) is a vital part of our church's health. Sunday school classes are held during the 10:00am service for pre-K through 6th grade. Children worship with their parents during the first part of the service, then are dismissed to meet their teacher and go to their classroom. Each class is led by two loving, committed teachers who are members of COC and undergo an extensive screening process to ensure your child’s safety.
Our curriculum, Answers Bible Curriculum (ABC), equips kids to know and apply God’s word. Lessons are taught in age-appropriate ways and take place in thoughtfully designed classrooms that are fun, inviting, and engaging. Parents are always welcome to meet the teachers—our team would love to get to know your family!

Children's Activities and Events
Beyond Sunday school, we offer special events and activities throughout the year designed to help children grow in their faith, build friendships, and have fun in a safe, Christ-centered environment. From holiday programs to fall festivals and family nights, there’s always something exciting happening for children at Church of the Canyons.
