Patty is currently COC's volunteer administrative secretary and has been working at the church since 1995. She's been married to her high school sweetheart, Jens, for over 50 years and they have three sons: Jeffrey, Bryan, and Timothy. Patty and Jens also have six beautiful granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter.

Patty and her family moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1989. Each Sunday for a year, they traveled back and forth to their church in the San Fernando Valley. They finally decided it was time to find a local church to attend. They decided to visit a different church each Sunday, and then seek the Lord's direction as to where they should worship. The first church they visited was COC because it was the closest to them and an Evangelical Free Church, which was the same denomination they left to move to the SCV. They never visited the other churches on their list.

Patty feels blessed to be working at the church and thinks that she has the best job in the world.
