Lay Elder / Children's Education Director

Growing up in the San Fernando Valley is where I met my wife Stefanie. We married in 1998 and the Lord has blessed us with 3 children, Isaiah, Marianne and Alicia.

We began attending Church of the Canyons in 2009 after moving to SCV from San Diego area and it is here that I professed Christ as my Lord and Savior. Stefanie and I quickly enjoyed serving His church in various ministries capacities including; youth ministry, children's ministry, men's ministry, women's ministry and community groups.

As a firefighter for Los Angeles Fire Dept, the Lord has blessed me to serve both the local church as a current lay elder and the community of Los Angeles as a public servant.

Stefanie works in caring for our home and sharing in raising our children to love the Lord. This also allows her to function in women's ministry discipleship and relationships.

Isaiah serves as a U.S Navy Corpsman, while Marianne is continuing her education at a local college and Alicia enjoys attending High School at SCCS.

Stefanie and I currently serve together overseeing Children’s Ministry and really enjoy teaching our C.O.C children the ways of the Lord and pointing them to the truths of scripture. We also enjoy ministering alongside both the CE teaching staff and parents.

We continually seek to be utilized by God for His purposes while enjoying all aspects of the local church.

In either capacities Christ is central to our family, work and ministries while seeking to live faithfully for Him in all that we do.

A Favorite Scripture Verse: 1 Corinthians 10:31
"Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God"
